Raisin Walnut French Toast

  • 4ea ¼ inch slice Raisin Walnut Bread
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼cup cream
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp. softened butter
  • 2 oz. chopped walnuts
  • spray pan as needed
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  1. In a shallow baking dish combine eggs, cream, cinnamon and sugar and mix well
  2. Cut Raisin Walnut bread into 4 equal ¼in slices and place into egg mixture
  3. Let sit for 10 minutes to soak up mixture and begin to pre heat a sauté pan over medium low heat
  4. Spray your pre heated pan with non stick spray and place soaked bread in to begin cooking. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until egg is cooked through
  5. For compound butter combine walnuts and butter along with remaining cinnamon and mix well. Cool and top French toast after completed.
